What To Wear In Mexico City & Outfit Inspiration

MEXICO CITY

Mexico City, a stunning city brimming with history, culture, and an unmatched energy, is a destination that effortlessly blends old-world charm with contemporary flair. Navigating its colorful streets and diverse neighborhoods is an experience like no other. Get ready to walk off the street tacos with ease.

It has been almost at the top of my MUST TRAVEL list for years now! I was lucky enough to get married in Cabo, so a flight to Mexico City was both a quick and affordable flight for a little Honeymoon!

Close To The Sun & Closer To The Equator

The elevation of Mexico City is 7,349′ which is higher then America’s mile high city of Denver, so please REMEMBER SUNSCREEN. The weather is mild & warm most of the year! It can be cooler in the mornings & evenings, I sincerely hate being cold, so my advice will almost always be “pack a jacket”. Groundbreaking, I know… but I am not 22 anymore who would rather freeze then wear a jacket. Times have changed.

There is a distinct dry & wet season!  Summer is the rainy season, with the average maximum temperature reaching over 75°F from June to September, and rainfall exceeding five inches per month.

We traveled in the beginning of March, and the weather was truly perfect between low of 50s & highs of 72.

Streetwear Everywhere.

Layers, denim, sneakers, and color are the prime staples of streetwear among locals here.

Feel free to get creative & have fun with your outfits here! After all, you are on vacation & life is really too short to dress boring. But if you are like me and prefer to pack in a carry on, then take no shame in neutrals.
