Packing the perfect wardrobe either for the day, or weekend ensures you’re both comfortable and stylish for every adventure that awaits. From sandy beaches to charming town strolls, here’s my best tips to nailing that effortless island chic look.
Weather is that delicious SoCal weather of 70-80s during the day, and 60-70 at night during the summer. ALWAYS PACK A JACKET FOR SOUTHERN CALI SUMMER, unless you are from a cold region normally.
Pack Your Bags!
I brought a backpack to be hands free. Is this the most stylish choice? One could argue. I had a small towel, sunscreen, change of clothes(always a jacket), wallet, sunglasses, and chapstick.
During The Day.
Remember your sunscreen here! Easy lightweight trousers, a silk skirt, and a simple top is a great way to spend the day.
You can’t skip a chance to relax on the stunning beaches of Catalina Island. Toss a swimsuit and coverup in the backpack!
Dim The Lights...
The island is SO colorful and very breezy. This is time to pull out your brightest, boldest, and most upscale beach looks, or I love an All White Moment to pop against the color.

There are WILD BISON on the island and they are worth seeing!
I deeply recommend full length pants over shorts, the high grass are a breeding ground for bugs. Other then that, any workout top works!
