I’m based in San Diego, but most likely in the window seat of an airplane right now.
I didn’t travel much growing up, in fact, I didn’t board a plane until I was 18 years old. That is not to say that I didn’t want to travel, that was all I ever wanted to do. I dreamed of days spent in a new place surrounded by new cultures, and new experiences.
In 2018, I packed up my Nissan Rogue with my whole life in the backseat to move where I had no friends, no family, nowhere to live, and no job. Making the boldest move of my life so far, I traded small town Louisiana for the San Diego sun and never looked back!
San Diego became the perfect place to create a life I wanted instead of a life that someone else wanted for me. Of course, that took time, many tears, a job or two, a stint in real estate(like everyone in San Diego) that has led me to realize that time is the only resource you never get back.
I am a little hell bent on creating a life I wake up excited about. To travel, to feel life with heart open and scream with lungs full of joy. To breathe deep the noise of busy city streets, and find humanity deep within my bones. To be young, and grow wiser. To fail forward, to live my wildest daydreams and to invite everyone I meet to come with me.
I am still figuring this whole thing out, follow along. It’ll be anything but boring.
